Because the initial idea required many people, during simulation, lag was the enemy.

Instead, I decided to reduce the amount of people and give my installation a trojan theme where the local player, or the person playing is the trojan, the people following are security and the people running away are scattered data.

The ground level is the entrance where everything is calm until you step foot into the bordered area. Lower level one, becomes more difficult as you try to maneuver around the security and get around, alternatively you can skip this and go straight to the 2nd lower level where the lighting affects (created from a negative diffuse multiplyer) seem to eventually way you down and as you get deleted, or alternatively you can escape along the train tracks.

The flashing lights are to generate fear, and paranoia. The negative diffuse multiplyer lights are also to simluate migrains or seisures as they create great disconfort to the eyes.

The proximity trigger is located in the general main vicinity which triggers security. However exiting the proximity trigger deactivates them.

On this computer, the glitch of the followers wasn't occuring so they would keep following me after I've left. The grunts were acting cautious which suited the idea of scattered data which, although were concerned of the threat, still decided to sit down and do what ever they were doing.

Initial Idea

From Koolhaas's idea of "Porche" I thought of using it with the spaces between people instead of within or between objects. To do this, I would make interesting patterns of people depending on the local player.

From using people following VS people runnin away, we can then see where people gather, their choice of path and consequentially the spaces and gaps between them.

From trying different methods and having help from different people, as well as tutorials

I found a variety of methods to make people walk

some used ai nodes and targets which didn't seem to work as well.
Another idea was to use a chicken boid and replace the model

I decided to rely on the natural movements of Grunts

And to make people follow you, I used an Architype - which IS able to change their model, except only on the computer (so I have to keep doing this for each computer I am on) and used this tutorial: crysis sandbox 2 tutorial - how to make a squad mate follow you - 2

Both work well, however the follow graph seemed a bit glitchy. The followers seem to stop once they are near my and wont start up again when I leave.

Possible Town Hall Surveying Methods

There are 5 elements of an environment which would help make a virtural world seem to be reality, other than smell; Geometry, Lighting, Sounds, Interaction and Texture.

Methods:

Geometry:

Photos with Scale rulers: By placing a scaled ruler, 1m or 60cm, against the object or wall, and then take a photo, we can reduce the time to measure the area as we can judge the size of surrounding elements at home.

Trigonometry: To measure heights that aren't reachable or slopes. Image Modeler and Photo modeler help do all the trig for you (plug-ins in Autocad)

Gradients: To measture slopes.

Laser Measure: Measuring, acurately to 3mm, the shape of the space.

Lighting:

Photos: Will help record general placement of lights and shadows and their colours.

Video: Will help capture flickering of lights, movement patterns.

Light Meter: Use to measure the amount of light in the space. Normally used to help photographers determine how much exposure is needed.

Sound:

Decibel Meter: Measures Sound, intensity and loudness
Video Recorder, or Sound Recorder: Measures what is heard and where

Interaction:

Photos: Capturing specific experiences and movements.

Vibration meter: Footsteps (however not as affective near the train)

Heat Scanner: To measure where people are, or where they are congregating

Human Mapping: Plotting dots on a map where people congregate- more sparse, there are less people, and where there is more, there are more people. Over time (peak hour)

Sensors: The ones that are on the automatic doors of shopping centres.

Requesting Tickets: Requesting the transit office for how many tickets are bought to go to Central (only find the numbers)

Explosion Experiments 01 x 02 x 03

Explosions seem to only work on crysis made objects, as they have a structure and method of falling apart. Some objects such as a mellon, falls apart the same way most of the time as there are only three parts, but a village house explodes in various results as it is constructed of more parts. Sometimes the physics doesn't seem to work, where a thin support can still stands while holding up the rest of the roof. Having an Explosion from below takes out the closest supports resulting in the roof falling down as well. Having an explosion above causes the roof to react, however the supporting walls still held their grounds. By the way, if you get aby of the corrugated iron roof slates onto the water, you can go surfing XD, or rafting. Really depends on how fast you want it to go. Punching it helps it go far, except it's no fun when it flips over.

Who needs Gun powder to low things up, how about collisions! It also great when Crysis has effects when tanks/aeroplanes and etc blow up. Here's my house from different angles. I enjoy watching the crushing better than it being blown up because the roof seems to break in a wave from the impact area.

Movie and Screenshots of Crysis

Well... if you really want a movie, increase my downloading/uploading quota at uni!
and I am not paying for it. My internet at home is not sufficient, I am not waiting 5 hours, I'll try uploading tomorrow morning at UNI.

For the time being, enjoy some generated views.
Since benny is at the beach, he's wearing a full body bikini.
